ABOUT
I am an Austrian who has been living in the US for more than four years now. I have noticed that there are a number of things in which Europe lags behind but there are others where the States still have a lot of catching up to do. One of them being the general environmental consciousness. Basically, I'm just fed up with all the plastic trash and the immense waste of energy that I see everywhere.

I live in Brooklyn and I love my neighborhood but I hate all the avoidable plastic trash. Unfortunately, I sense a frustrating amount of indifference around me about leading a more sustainable lifestyle and much unawareness of the benefits of running ecologically friendly businesses.

If you have been following the news - or have seen it yourself - the entire world has a trash and pollution problem. Oceans are filling up with plastic, wild life is diminishing and global warming is posing a fundamental threat for all of us.

We are all contributing to these problems on a daily basis. However, there are things that we can do to mitigate our impact. On this website I want to share tips of how we can adapt small daily habits in a way that will make a big difference if enough people are taking them to heart.

None of us have the power to turn things around alone but if we adapt our habits and change our mindset as a society we do have considerable power in numbers.

This does not mean that we have to live like hermits or venture into the woods and hug trees. I want to give some ideas on how people and businesses can easily make the world a better place - in style!

Please share your ideas, experiences or helpful links.
Make people around you aware and potentiate your positive impact.

What's with the logo you ask?

Hanging a flag upside down is understood as a sign of distress or danger.

Right now there is a very real threat to our environment and not enough people seem to realize this.
I want to fly this "flag" upside down to show that something is wrong.
